Editor overview

The editor is split into three areas. The left panel is your block library — browse and add new sections. The centre canvas is a live preview of your page. The right panel is where you edit content and styles for the selected block.

Adding blocks

Click the + button at the top of the left panel to open the block picker. Blocks are grouped by category — Hero, Content, Media, Booking, Forms, and more. Click a block to add it to the bottom of your page, or drag it to a specific position on the canvas.

Block types

Pressly includes a wide range of blocks: Hero, Text, Features, Gallery, Booking Widget, Contact Form, Pricing, Testimonials, Article, Post List, and more. Each block is purpose-built so you spend less time fiddling with layout and more time writing content.

Editing content

Click any block on the canvas to select it. The right panel switches to the Content tab where you can edit text, upload images, and change links. For text blocks, you can also use the AI Rewrite button to get a quick alternative version of your copy.

Styling

Switch to the Design tab in the right panel to adjust visual settings. Every block supports colours, fonts, padding, and background options. Some blocks also support animations and custom background images. Changes appear instantly on the canvas.

Layout variants

Each block type has multiple layout variants — for example, a Hero block can be centred, split, or editorial. Open the Variant dropdown in the content panel to switch between them. The content you have already entered carries over when you change variants.

Tip: Try different variants before settling on a layout. Your content transfers automatically, so there's no rework involved.

Device preview

Use the device toggle in the top toolbar to switch between Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile views. This lets you check how your page looks on different screen sizes before publishing.

Publishing

Your work is auto-saved every 10 seconds so you never lose progress. When you are ready to go live, click Publish in the top-right corner. You can toggle pages between Draft and Published status from the pages list in the sidebar.
